Porter Bear

Bear Porter Bear, Jr., age 76, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Pawnee Bear, Nora Lefthand, Johnson Bear, Thomas Bear, Wiley Bear, Dora Haney, Ronald Jean Bear.

Porter is survived by his children, Russell Bear of Seminole, OK, Ronald Bender of Seminole, OK, Jena Castillo of Seminole, OK; five grandchildren; sister, Alice Noon and husband Richard, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 1, 2025 at Snake Creek Church in Little, Oklahoma with Bill Hobia, Jr. officiating, assisted by Carl Whitfield. Interment to follow at Bear Family Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma.
