Yaeger Peter Melvin Yaeger, 76, was born in San Gabriel, California.

Pete passed away on January 30, 2025, at his home in Wewoka, Ok.

Pete left behind his wife of the home, Carol Yaeger; sister Cathy Hauser and husband Gary of California; daughters Heather Yaeger of California, Debbie Cheatwood and husband Paul of Mason, Ok, Becky Wise of Oakhurst, Ok, and Laura Yaeger of Tulsa, Ok; son Ricky Wise of Wagner, Ok; niece Allison Scott-Turner and husband Tyrone of California; nephews Eric Hauser and wife Season of California, and Charles Hauser and wife Dina of California; as well as 6 granddaughters and 13 great grandchildren.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents Peter M. Yaeger and wife Helen of California and Cora C. Nash of California; and infant brother Richard Yaeger of California.

Peter retired from Enviro after 10 years. He also worked for Wrangler for 26 years. He was an active member of the Wewoka congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. Pete married the love of his life Carol on January 29, 1983 in Okemah, Ok. He loved food & coffee, surfing, history, music, computers, Godzilla and picking on his loved ones.

Pete’s favorite scripture is Revelations 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Pete’s memorial service will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 2104 Seran Dr., Wewoka, Ok 74884, on February 8, 2025 at 2pm.
