Peggy Marie Neill age 93, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 in Purcell, OK. She was born January 6, 1930 in Henryetta, OK to the late Theodore Felty Ussery and Lucille (Webster) Ussery. She married Donom Neill on November 17, 1948. She graduated from Wewoka in 1946.

Peggy loved her family unconditionally, enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren immensely. She valued her friendships made throughout her life. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wewoka for over 70 years. She loved going fishing, camping, and was an avid collector of things. Her door was always open to anyone and a meal was always ready to be shared. Early in her life she worked for South Western Bell and also owned her own dry cleaning business. She enjoyed making ceramics, sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed flower gardening. She was a volunteer at the Seminole County fair every year and loved entering her creations in the fair. She taught sunday school for many years and enjoyed volunteering at the school whenever possible.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Donom Allen Neill.

Peggy is survived by her children Teddy Neill of Wewoka, OK, Jan Hager of Wewoka, OK. Theresa Williams and husband John of Maysville, OK, grandchildren, Leif Nevener

of Beggs, OK, Jessica Graham and husband Dustin of Lawton, OK, Carlye Bryant and husband Steve of Wewoka, OK, Josh Crane and wife Stephanie of Texas, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and 1 on the way, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 28, 2023 and 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, OK.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 30, 2023 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Marie Fabion officiating, assisted by Pastor Larry Chesser Jr. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK.

Pallbearers: Grandchildren & Spouses.

Honorary Pallbearers: Great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
