Peggy Lemons

Peggy Sue Lemons age 79, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Austell, Georgia. She was born June 18, 1943 to Vernon Wesley Lemons and Anna Laura Gibson Lemons in Wewoka, OK.

Peggy graduated from Butner Highschool. She was in the Airforce from 1962-1966 she then worked in Maintenance for Tinker Air Force Base for many years till she was transfered to Dobbins Airforce Base in Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Vernon Dale Lemons, Jerry Dee Lemons, sisters, Dorothy Turner, Deloris Streater, and Alice Orr.

Peggy is survived by Winford Lemons and wife Rugena of Sulfur, OK, sister, Virginia Bicknell, sistersin- law, Jeannie Lemons of Wewoka, OK, Kay Lemons of Wewoka, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 10, 2023 at Highland Cemetery in Okemah, OK with Pastor Matt Wyatt officiating.
