Paul Edwin White, 85, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born October 23, 1933 in Blue Mound Township in Wagoner County, Oklahoma to parents Elva C. White and Trusie Schmieder. He moved to Seminole after high school graduation and lived and worked there the rest of his life.

Paul served his country in the United States Army for four years attaining the rank of Corporal and was an expert Marksman.

Paul was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Seminole, Oklahoma. He was President of C & J Trucks, Inc. that he had owned and operated since 1976. Paul enjoyed fishing, playing with his grandchildren and loved working.

He is survived by his wife Pat (Hogan) White, who he married on August 6, 2006, his son; Mark White and his wife Lori of Shawnee, Oklahoma, his daughter; Paula Daniel and her husband Jim of Wewoka, Oklahoma, his brother; Leo, his sister; Helen, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife of 52 years and the mother of his children; Sally Ann White, his son; Mike White and his sister Lois.

Graveside services for Paul will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2019 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, east of Seminole, Oklahoma with Nancy Dodson officiating.

The family requests that donations in Paul’s memory be made to the Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum, 1714 Highway 9 West, Seminole, Oklahoma.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
