Norma Jean Sharpe, 84, of Wewoka, Oklahoma took her journey into Glory Land Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Norma Jean Sharpe was born to Harry Sharpe and Lena Mae Fish in Seminole County on November 27, 1937.

She grew up in the Wewoka area, and graduated from Wewoka High School in May of 1956.

She was blessed with many abilities. Singing, playing the piano, beadwork, plastic canvas crafting, and many more hobbies that she shared with everyone willing to learn with her.

She had 6 children, 18 grandchildren 33 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, any and all of which she would take to church with her every chance she got.

Norma was proceeded in death by her parents, Harry Sharpe and Lena Mae Fish, her brothers; Richard Bemo, Simeon Bemo, George Bemo, one sister, Madeline Burgess, and her children, Robin Buck and Anita Herrington.

She is survived by one brother, Glenn Sharpe, her children Mitch and his wife Dee Buck their 3 kids and 3 grandkids; Glynis Sanchez her 3 kids and 6 grandkids, Guy Buck his 3 kids and 2 grandkids, Debbie Coker and Robert Wakely her 4 kids and 15 grandkids, Rob’s 2 kids and 3 grandkids and Anita’s 3 kids, 4 grandkids and 2 great grandkids; and a host of nieces and nephews.

You’re never really gone when you leave a legacy as great as hers.

Pall Bearers are, Gavin Ewoldt, JJ Long, Greg Buck, Lance Buck, Trask Coker, Miguel Sanchez Jr.

Honorary Pall Bearers are, Carlos Meneses, Richie Beaver, Barry Meneses, Jesse Gauge Long, Enleteke Dean Buck, Timothy Harjo, John Beaver, Daniel Tanyan, Alex Harjo, Austin Stone, Richard Helms

Wake service will be Monday, July 11, 2022 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Funeral service will be Tuesday July 12, 2022 at Spring Baptist Church, with Pastors Jimmy Anderson,

Frank Moppin and Kellus Walker officiating and burial to follow at Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home
