Nell Star

Nell Mae (Billie) Star, age 79 departed this life on Thursday, April 8, 2021 in Oklahoma City. She was born on January 24, 1942 in Talihina, Oklahoma to the late Joe Billie Sr. and Louisa (Cosar) Billie. She married Daniel Starr April 1, 1964 and he preceded her in death in 1998. She worked for Wrangler for a number of years until she retired in 2002.

Preceding Nell in death are her parents, husband, three sons Terry, Michael and David Starr, one daughter LaQuita Starr, one grandson, one great-grandson, three brothers Joseph Daniel Billie, Otis Moses and George Hulbutta. Survivors include one brother John Billie Sr. of Sayre, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren. Wake service will be 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday ,April 15, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Chapel.

The body will be taken at 10:00 AM Friday, April 16, 2021 to Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church for a 2:00 PM Funeral, with Pastor Mitchel Taylor officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery Wewoka.

The Family request mask be worn for Wake and Funeral due to COVID 19.
