Nancy May (Baldwin) Harrod, age 80 and a longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at her home on April 1, 2023 in Konawa surrounded by her family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Konawa. Pastor Chad Large will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Casket bearers are her grandsons, Nathan Walker, Jacob Akerman, Lucas Akerman, Dakota Jesse, Lance Akerman, Wyatt Harrod, Tristin Lackey, Jon Hoff, and Arron Kelsey. The family will greet guests from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

Nancy was born August 6, 1942 in Calvin, Oklahoma to William and Opal (Clark) Baldwin. She graduated from Holdenville High School, and she married Roger Van Harrod April 8, 1967 in Ada, Oklahoma. Nancy owned and operated the Flowerland Florist Shop in Konawa, and she was a member of Capitol Heights Baptist Church of Holdenville. She loved OSU and western swing. Nancy was notorious for being late, but she managed to always show up.

She is survived by her husband of almost 56 years, Roger Harrod of the home; two sons, Roger Harrod of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Steven Harrod and wife, MarKae of Ada, Oklahoma; two daughters, Kim Jackson of Konawa, and Karol Akerman and husband, Allan of Konawa; one brother, Joe Dale Baldwin and wife, Dean of Bray, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, Nathan Walker and wife, Mary, Katie Hoff and husband, Jon, Jacob Akerman and wife, Katie, Meggie Kelsey and husband, Arron, Lucas Akerman and wife, Chandler, Krysten Lackey and husband, Tristin, Dakota Jesse, Kyra Harrod, Lance Akerman, Wyatt Harrod, Tracelyn Harrod, and Emerlyn Harrod; eight great grandchildren, Abigail, Brodie, Ryan, Bexley, Lauren, Welch, Hannah, and Logan; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, William Doyle Baldwin and Leroy Dennis Baldwin.
