Mody B. Harjo

Harjo Mody B. Harjo journeyed to the spirit world on November 23rd, 2025 in Denver, CO.

Mody was preceded in death by his parents George and Christine B. Harjo; grandma Sena Wolfe; brothers Sam B. Harjo, Wallace B. Harjo, Coac Ahassie, Kimble B. Harjo and Willie B. Harjo; sister Lucy Kay and James Smith, Aunt Virginia “Micco” Larney; nephew Paul Harjo; and niece Kristy Dawn Fixico.

Mody B. Harjo is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lisa B. Harjo of Denver, CO; daughters Tvhokne Harjo, Rosa Molina, Sena Harjo, and Bvgehoyoge; son-in laws Brian Shaver, Aaron Culbertson, six grandchildren, two raised nephews, siblings Marsey B. Harjo of Seminole, OK, Nancy Fixico of Seminole, OK Yogi and Naomi B. Harjo of Del City, OK, Sonja Larney of Denver, CO, Sharon and Mike Proctor of Henryetta, OK, and Janie Bear of Newalla, OK; and all of his beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on December 2nd, 2025 at Hitchitee United Methodist Church. His final resting place will be at the B. Harjo Family Cemetery in Seminole, OK.
