Mike Berry

Mike Preston Berry, Seminole resident, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Mike was born on May 4, 1967, in Seminole, OK to Benjamin Franklin Berry Sr. and Delois Meanger (Washington) Berry.

Mike spent most of his life in New Lima and Seminole. He was a truck driver and oilfield worker. Mike enjoyed drawing, inventing, basketball, swimming, road tripping, horseback riding, four wheeling, fishing and camping. He was devoted to supplying the needs of his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Mike would say “You better get some air.”

Mike is survived by his two sons, Tyris Adams and Carnelius Berry; three daughters, LaToya Miller, LaQueaster Berry and Mariah Verel-Berry; three brothers, Jarrod Berry, Donnell Berry and Frank Berry; sister, Latrice Berry-Jackson; ten grandchildren, Camryn, Ejion, Enaysha, Ejontay, Car’Nysha, E’Mya, Car’Lynn, E’Styn, Za’Kai and Mason; and a host of family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Franklin Berry Sr. and Delois Meanger Berry; grandparents, Jack and Vera Berry; brother, Ben Berry Jr., sister, Mari’Lynn Jean Berry; niece, Coo-Baby and nephew, Jay-J.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK.
