Mickey Hughes

Hughes Mickey “Sam” Linn Hughes age 64, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at his home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers James L Phillips Jr. and Donald Hughes.

Mickey is survived by his wife, Sarah Hughes of the home; children, Douglas Hughes and wife Shannon of Washington State, Amy Kimbrough and husband Chris of Lake City, FL, Joseph Hughes and wife Kaylee of Lake City, FL, Nathan Hughes of California, Timmothy Hughes of Wewoka, OK, Jacob Hughes of Wewoka, OK; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Kitty Shakeshaft and husband Fredrick of Wewoka, OK, Robin Olsausky and husband Mathew of Equadore, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday, February 2, 2026 family will greet guests from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 P.M., Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma. Celebration of life will follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 2500 John St., Seminole, OK 74884 with Bishop Range officiating.
