Michael Allen Stanberry, Seminole resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Mike was born on September 8, 1964, in San Mateo, California to Bobby Allen and Betty Paula (Foster) Stanberry.

Mike married Bobbie Jo Wheeler on May 13, 2019 at Lord’s Community Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and playing with his grandbabies who loved him more than anything. Mike had a huge heart and he loved his grandkids. He enjoyed fighting with his sister, Debbie and it was known he would only listen to Paulette. He liked to joke, laugh and tease. Mike was the life of the party. Bobbie expresses she “loved Mike with all my heart forever and a day”.

Mike is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jo Stanberry of the home; sons, Michael Paul Stanberry of Garberville, CA, Robert Allen Wilsie and wife, Cheri Dawn of Tecumseh, OK, Beau Wilsie of Shawnee, OK; step-son, Brian Rowe and wife, Megan; daughter, Sarah Jane Wilsie of Shawnee, OK; sisters, Debra Donahue of Wolf, OK, Paulette Fennel Stanberry of Shawnee, OK, Denise Donahue of CA and Diane and David Donahue of CA; grandchildren, Tiffani Rowe, Audrey Rowe, Skyler Rowe, Raylee Rumbo, Kaleb Wilsie and Matt Wilsie; mother-in-law, Joyce Godfrey and husband, Allen and many other family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Robin Turnbull; brother, Robert Stanberry Jr. and step-daughter, Tiffany Rowe.

Those serving as casket bearers are Ted Neal, Jason Deeks, Brian Rowe, James Turnbow, Beau Wilsie, Roy LaBon, Robert Wilsie and Steve Lucas. Jeremy Parker is serving as honorary casket bearer.

Viewing will be on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 1 pm — 5 pm and Monday, March 22, 2021 from 8:00 am — 7:00 pm at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 11 am at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Michael Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
