Melanie Rochelle Beavers, 42, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma resident, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Melanie was born June 6, 1977 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Bennie and Juanita (Cochran) Jefferson.

Melanie attended school at New Lima, Noble Town Elementary and Wewoka Schools and graduated from Wewoka High School.

She also graduated from Gordon Cooper Tech with and L.P.N. degree. She attended Vatterott Beauty College and received her cosmetology license.

Melanie is survived by her mother; Juanita Beavers and father Benny John Cochren Jefferson of Seminole, Oklahoma, her daughter Mothesia St.Clair Beavers of the home, four brothers; Benny Cochran Jr. and Christie of Seminole, Oklahoma, DeShawn Beavers and Nikkie of Shawnee, Ulyesses Beavers and Heather of Seminole,Gregory Reese of Norman and John Beavers and Teila of Seminole and her sisters; Ashley and Shavar McGregor of Wewoka and Rosalyn Reese of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Daniel and Ora Lee Thomas, Dillard Berry and John and Vina Jefferson and great grandmother Minnie Beavers.

Funeral services are planned for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with burial at St. Matthews Cemetery east of Seminole. Pastor AT Watts will officiate at the service.

Arrangements are under the care of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
