Marsha Ann Bear, age 56, passed away on March 13, 2021 at her home in Earlsboro, Oklahoma. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 18, 1964 to Wiley Bear, Sr. and Rachel Marie (Larney) Bear. As a little girl she and her sisters would go out for walks or go swimming when they could. When they were school age they were sent to Jones Academy where Marsha would spend the rest of her school years until she dropped out to marry her first love.

Marsha worked as a manager at Dollar General and was a member of the Seminole and Creek Nations of Oklahoma. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and traveling to visit family. She loved to cook. She loved her family and friends, and it brought her great joy just to be around them. Her grandkids were most important to her and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. She loved to teach them stories from the Bible. She was a strong, loving person and not matter what life brought, she faced it head on.

Marsha is survived by her sons; Daniel Boyd Yahola and John Ray Bear, both of Shawnee, Oklahoma, daughters; Amber Marie Yahola of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Sara Jean Wise of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, brothers; Tim Bear, Wiley Bear, Jr. and David Lee Walters and fifteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister; Martha Harjo, sister; Brenda Bear, brother; George Bear and her grandson; Zackary Johnson.

Funeral Services for Marsha will be at 2:00, Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
