Luke M. Scott, age 76 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on April 2, 2023 at The Grand Skilled Nursing in Bethany, Oklahoma.

A Wake service is scheduled for 6:00p.m to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023 at High Springs, Baptist Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. He will be taken to the church at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023 at the church. Skip Foster will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Luke was born December 3, 1946 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Lewis Scott and Lena Willow.

He is survived by one son, Jack Harrison of Seminole, Florida, daughter, April Harrison of Spencer, Oklahoma; one sister, Carolyn Powers of Van Buren, Oklahoma; and eleven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; the mother of April Harrison; wife, May Scott; one daughter, Lena; and one brother, Thomas Rex Harjo.
