Lester Coy "Buddy" Remer, 85, passed away on July 18, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born April 1, 1934 in Pelsor, Arkansas to parents Charles Lester Remer and Wilsie Mae (Standridge) Remer. He married Lillian Rozella Welcher on March 1, 1954 at the Church of God in Ada, Oklahoma.

Lester is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lillian Remer, his son; Keith Remer and his wife Jeanne of Jones, Oklahoma, his daughters; Jane Crawford and her husband David of Houston, Texas, Lau-ramae Lollar and her husband David of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Johnnie Mahurin and her husband Gary of Ada, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Coy Remer and his wife Jessica, Sloan Andrews and her husband Rick, Hayden Remer, Travis Crawford and his wife Jessica, Wesley Crawford and his wife Catherine, Patrick Craw-ford and his wife Carlyn, Buddy Pearce, Austin Lol-lar, Abbie Gandy and Em-ma Gandy and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Wilsie Remer, son; Lester Coy Remer, Jr., brother; Clarence Remer, and sisters; Ethel Robertson, Marie Chastain and Joy Chastain.

Funeral services for Lester will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, 1001 N. Milt Phillips Avenue in Seminole, Oklahoma with burial to follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole.

Casket bearers will be Coy Remer, Buddy Pearce, Austin Lollar, Rick Andrews, David Crawford and Gary Mahurin. David Lollar will be an Honorary casket bearer.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
