Leonard L e w i s Waller passed away

June 14, 2019 at Avolea

He was born June 6, 1919. He celebrated his 100 birthday with friends and family.

He was born in Liberty Ok near Shawnee to Robert and Bessie Earls Waller. They owned a store in Ada, and he was the only surviving child of 4 children born to them.

He met Faye Vance at East Central University (ECU), they were married in 1939 in Holdenville OK. And were together 14 years. They had two children, Leonard Max Waller and Nancy Kay (Waller).

He later married Helen Presley in 1963 and was married for 45 years.

Leonard went to school in Ada and graduated from Ada High School. He went to East Central University one year before joining the Army Air Cor where he served as a nose gunner during WWII. He worked for Snelling personal until he retired in 1981.

Leonard is survived by son Max Waller and wife Kay of Seminole. Daughter Nancy K. (Waller) Oliver and Husband Tom of Marshall OK. Step-son Mike Reynolds and wife Ann of N. Carolina. Nine great grand kids and three great-great grand kids.

Celebration of life will be later for family only. Deepest appreciation to the staff at Avolea for such love and care and to Faith Hospice also.
