Leona was born on May 6, 1958 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Henry L. Wise and Fannie L. Harjo (Tiger).
She was of Baptist faith and a church member of Middle Creek #2 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She worked as a Machinist.
Leona is preceded in death by her father, Henry L. Wise.
She is survived by her children, Rashawna Wise of Tulsa, Thunder Wise of Wewoka, and Darren Kernell of Wewoka, mother, Fannie L. Harjo (Tiger), siblings, Herschel Wise, Leatrice Looking Glass, Letha Wise, and Lou Ann Kahwakyla.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Reverend Steve Holata and assisted by Pastor Frank Moppin. Interment will be at E.Tiger Family Cemetery south of Wewoka.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
