Lee R. Cokeley, 80, Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at his home. Lee was born October 19, 1938 in Meno, Oklahoma to Forest Cokeley and Versa (Munkres) Cokeley. Lee graduated from Ames High School in Ames, Oklahoma.

Lee was a longtime supervisor for Sunoco Oil Company before his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. Lee enjoyed cattle farming, carpentry and planting trees.

Lee married Patricia Ann Black on May 13, 1989 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Lee is survived by his loving wife Patricia Cokeley of Seminole, three daughters; Sheila Wirick of California, Sherri Anson of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Aislinn Steiner of Piedmont, Oklahoma, two sisters; Anna German of Bridgeport, Texas, Carolyn Stricker  and her husband Don of Frisco, Texas, stepson; Justin Orr, stepdaughter; Melisa Kennedy, nine grandchildren; Dakota Milliron, Montana Milliron, Morgan Milliron, Bailey Daugherty, Dalton Orr, Austin Orr, Lauren Kennedy, Stewart Wirick, Spencer Wirick and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jimmy Cokeley.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 23, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma at 420 Reid Street in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Pastor Nick Atyia. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday at the Tate Mountain Cemetery, south of Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Casket bearers will be Rob Fletcher, Scott Robison, Dalton Orr, Austin Orr, Kevin Steiner and Dakota Milliron.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the First Baptist Church in Seminole, Celebrate Recovery of FBC, all the brothers of the Step Study class, 2019, Heartland Hospice of Shawnee, Jinger, Rachel, Jennifer and the many others on this journey.

Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
