Laverne Williams Lehman was born July 9, 1943 to her parents Elmer and Erma Marlow Williams. She was the youngest of her siblings Dolores, Ginger, Barbara and Leon who have all since passed before her. She was a lifelong Seminole Resident. Laverne died March 17, 2021 due to complications of the CORONA virus.

She loved the summertime and hated the winter. When spring arrived this year, her words were “We made it!” Laverne worked as a bookkeeper in Seminole Ok and owned Bob’s bookkeeping beginning in 1971. She never fully retired. She received a call in the evening hours on Wednesday the 17 th from the Lord and her work here was done. She will not return because the sign-on bonus was too large to turn away. She was guaranteed to be reunited with the family she missed so dearly. She leaves behind so many that knew and loved her. Her faith was in Jesus Christ and her mission here is over. I can imagine His words to her now “YOU made it!” She will be loved and missed by her son Randy and his wife Lori Lehman as well as Laverne’s grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She would want to hug and thank each of you that have prayed for her and her family.

At her request she was laid to rest at Little Cemetery near her brother Leon Williams with graveside services only of close friends and family.

Arrangements were under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
