Seminole resident Kenneth David Bridges passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Tecumseh.

Kenny, the son of Kenneth and Margaret (Neves) Bridges was born October 25, 1956, in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a child and young man, Kenny lived in Reedsport, Oregon and then he and his family moved to Glen Falls, New York. Kenny left school in 1976 while in the 11th grade, to join the Army, but due to an injury in basic training, was honorably discharged after only serving a short time. Kenny enjoyed listening to 70s rock music; he also played guitar, drums, harmonica, and keyboards. Kenny’s love of music will be fondly remembered. He would always join in with the group, playing and singing when the music began. Kenny has always been the life of the party! He loved being with his nieces, nephews and their children. He spent time drawing pictures for them and enjoyed the gifts of hand drawn pictures they sent to him. Christmas was a special family time, filled with joy, giving small gifts to everyone and building gingerbread houses together.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Kenny is survived by his sister and brotherin-law, Susan and Bryon Gates, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
