Judith Ann (Villines) Russell

Judith Ann (Villines) Russell, 72, of Fort Gibson was born August 26, 1948 in Seminole, OK to Kenneth and Wanda Marie (Brockett) Villines and peacefully passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Tulsa with her family by her side. Judy grew up in Seminole where she attended school. She furthered her education in college. Judy married her best friend James Russell on February 15, 1974 and they made their home in Oklahoma City. Judy worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at Cooper Middle School for a few years, but her passion in life was taking care of her family. Judy sacrificed so her kids could go to school and was extremely dedicated to her family. She was very active in all her kids and grandkids events, never missing and opportunity to support them in Campfire girls, football, livestock shows and anything else her family participated in. Growing up, the family ate dinner together every night. She enjoyed her quiet time with a good book. In 2013 Judy and James moved to the lake where their days were filled taking the family boating and fishing. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Tiffani Ann Perry and husband Darren of Fort Gibson; son, Jason Robert Russell and wife Keri of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren, Noah Duane Perry, Holli Marie Perry both of Fort Gibson, Elle Ann Russell and Kate June Russell both of Weatherford, Texas, extended family and many friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and husband; James E. Russell on November 14, 2020. A service Celebrating Judith’s life will be noon, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Rosedale Cemetery, Rosedale, OK with Dr. Henry Petree officiating. Honorary casket bearers are Noah Perry, Ronald Pulliam, Kenny Pulliam, Ken Russell, Michael Knight and Tom Valasquez.
