John Pierre Duvall Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri passed away October 20, 2020 at the age of 63.

Johnny was born on December 26, 1956 in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was the son of J.P. (Doc) Duvall and Sue (Willingham) Duval.

He graduated from Varnum High School in 1975 as Salutatorian of his class, and won numerous awards in basketball. After graduation he attended Oklahoma State University and excelled in mathematics.

Johnny became a brakeman for Rock Island Railroad and Santa Fe Railways, then became a dedicated employee for General Motors for 35 years.

He was in the process of retiring and moving back to Oklahoma to help his dad on the farm. Johnny was an avid OU Sooner Football and Nascar fan. He loved fast cars, rock n roll music and driving his corvette.

He loved setting off fireworks with his nieces and nephews on the Fourth of July. He was known to his friends and family as Johnny or J.D.

Johnny was preceded in death by his loving mother, Sue Duvall and nephew, Garrett Lawson.

Left to cherish his memories are his father, J.P. (Doc) Duvall and four sisters who adored their only brother, Peggy Guest and Gary, Gayla Duvall, Nancy Quinalty and Stephen, Diana Simpson and Steve, all of Seminole, Oklahoma.

His nieces and nephews all thought the world of their uncle Johnny, Heather Guest, Allison Guest, Lindsay Cope and Caleb, Jarrod Vasquez, Craig Quinalty and Leslie, Bryan Quinalty and Michelle, Ashley Fichtner and Jake, Amy Childers and Kris.

Due to Covid, there will be a private family burial scheduled at Maple Grove Cemetery for a later date.
