JoAnn Harbert, departed this life in Midwest City at the age of 91 years.
She was born August 7, 1928 in Wewoka, OK to the late Gus Coursey and Bernice Sturgis Coursey. She attended Wewoka High School.
JoAnn married Carlos Edward Harbert October 2, 1945 and he passed away November 30,1982.
JoAnn was a member of First Baptist Church Wewoka, she enjoyed dancing, traveling, cooking, arts and crafts, gardening and spending time with her family. Preceding JoAnn in death
Preceding JoAnn in death are her parents, husband, sisters, Helen Jones, Peggy Coleen Scism, brother Robert Coursey and her son, Mark Harbert.
Survivors include two children Ruth Brown of Midwest City, and Keith Harbert of Moore, OK; grandchildren, Lisa ,Tim, Jason, Matthew, Cameron, Alyssa, Jonathan, Steven, Michael.
Numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Stout-Phillips Chapel with Ruby Nell Davis-York officiating. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Grandson will serve as pallbearers.
