Jo Ann Johnson

Jo Ann (Kuestersteffen) Johnson, age 68 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at OU Medical in Oklahoma City on August 19, 2025.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Fr. Brashears will officiate, and burial will follow at Violet Cemetery in Konawa. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of almost 47 years, Mickey Johnson of the home; children, LaDawna “Punkin” Fry and husband, Steven of Konawa, and Jody Johnson and wife, Julie of Konawa; four grandchildren, one great grandson (on the way); siblings, Daryl Kuestersteffen and wife, LaDonna of Konawa, Mike Kuestersteffen and wife, Vicki of Vero Beach, Florida, Susie Huggins and husband, Ted of Konawa, and Sam Silas and wife, Marteen of Ada, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind a large family including numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
