Jeffrey Jerome Morris, age 56 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Grace Community Church of Vamoosa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery, and Kevin Duck will officiate. Casket bearers are James Tooley, Timothy Morris, Michael Roe, Tommy Shull, Billy Everhart, and David Ross. Visitation will be Thursday and Friday at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family requires that masks be worn at the service.

Jeff was born December 11, 1964 in Norwalk, California to Warren Morris and LaWanna (Asay) Morris. He graduated Konawa High School and attended East Central University of Ada, Oklahoma. He was a Member Advocate Specialist for Legal Shield of Ada, and the Pastor of Colbert Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Carol Morris of the home; one son, Timothy Morris of the home; three daughters, Elisabeth Minitre and husband, Garrett of Konawa, Sarah Morris of Konawa, and Kili Morris of the home; two brothers, John Morris of Arizona, and Jesse Morris of California; one sister, Jane Pippin of Louisiana; and two grandchildren, Thorin and Alexander.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and LaWanna Morris, and two brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Morris.
