Javelin Hartfield

Javelin DeShawn Hartfield was born on July 12, 1994 to Shawnna Hartfield and John Burris, Sr. Javelin was a long time Shawnee Resident. He passed from this life on February 18, 2021 in Shawnee, OK.

Javelin is survived by his parents, Shawnna Hartfield and John Burris, Sr.; three daughters, Aria J. N. Hartfield, Ayva J. N. Hartfield and Alaya J. N. Hartfield; six brothers John Burris Jr., Jonathan Windows, Arrmon Burris , Zyqurion Burris, Amedee Burris and Miercalise Burris; six sisters, Shawntaviya Hartfield, Shawndra Hartfield, Cynthia Mitchelle, Nicole Bruner, Donetta Burris and Raleta Milon; grandmother, Mattie J. Hartfield.

Javelin was preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather.

Private family viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:30 AM at OKC Faith Tabernacle Church at 800 S. Portland in Oklahoma City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memory Garden in Spencer. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
