James Harold Moore, age 80, passed from this life peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at his home in Wagoner, OK. He was born on March 03, 1940 in Konawa, OK to Harley E and Hazel B Moore.

On June 12, 1960, he married his beloved wife Helen (Belshe) Moore, and they celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Harold graduated from Konawa High School in 1958, enlisted in the Army, and later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Central State University in May of 1968. He worked as an Oil & Gas Administrator for Amoco for 26 years. He enjoyed his family, friends, gardening, traveling, grandchildren, and church.

He was preceded in death by Hazel Moore (Mother), Harley Moore (Father), and Don Moore (Brother).

He leaves behind his wife, Helen; Eric Moore and wife, Lori, of Tulsa, OK; Alan Moore and wife, Barbara, of Lawrence, KS; Curtis Moore of Claremore, OK; Deane Vogt and husband , Brad, of Coweta, OK; grandchildren Trenton, Mitchell, Shanna, Jared, Lucas, Mackenzie, Jenna, Austen, and Angela; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, February 18th, from 11 :00 A.M to 7:00 P.M. at Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory. Harold’s service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 19th, at First Baptist Church in Wagoner, OK. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
