Jack Porter Sullivan, Seminole resident, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021, in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 85.

Jack was born on December 14, 1935, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Leo Parker and Daisy Dixie (Blackwell) Sullivan.

Jack married Edna Grace Barry on September 28, 1957 in Garwood, New Jersey.

He was an avid stamp collector and enjoyed fishing.

He served in the US Coast Guard from 1955- 1959 at Staten Island, New York. He spent most of his life in Shawnee, OK and Seminole, OK. He was the president and owner of Sullivan Wholesale Company Inc. Jack was a member of First Christian Church in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Jack is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Edna Grace Sullivan; sons, Jay Sullivan and wife, Dawn of Marietta, Georgia and Mark Sullivan and wife, Cindy of Shawnee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jill and husband Kyle, Amy and husband Kyle, Kylee and husband, Richard and Chase; three great great grandchildren Cale, Mason and Kinsley and many other family and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Sullivan.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Glen Pence officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
