Glenn Allen Abel age 66 passed away Monday, January 17th, 2022 in Oklahoma City, OK surrounded by his wife and children. He was born June 20, 1955 in Seminole, OK to the late Doyle G. Abel and Edna Faye (Deulen) Abel. Glenn married the love of his life Debbie (Painter) Abel on June 26, 1976 in Byng, OK. They were blessed with 45 wonderful years together.

Glenn graduated from Wewoka H.S. and then received a bachelor degree at ECU. He was an electrical/electronic technician for Sunoco for close to 40 years. He served as a Deacon and faithful member of Mission Home Missionary Baptist Church in Wewoka, OK. Glenn enjoyed ranching, hunting, fishing, shooting sports, and being outdoors, which he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family, but his greatest joy was pestering and playing with his grandchildren. He was their biggest fan in all of their activities.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Debbie Abel; children, Matt Abel and wife Lyndsey of Wewoka, OK, Michelle Smith and husband Derek of Wewoka, OK, Micah Abel and wife Kim of Wewoka, OK; grandchildren, Kallie Abel, Ethan Abel, Maggie Smith, Hunter Smith, Sonny Abel, Cannan Abel, Addie Abel, Isley Abel; brother, Gary Abel and wife Terri of Watson, OK; sister, Gayle Mace and husband Don of Wewoka, OK, and numerous of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 24, 2022 at Mission Home Missionary Baptist Church in Wewoka, OK. Officiating will be Brother Matt Wyatt. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK. Masks will be required to attend all services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made in Glenn's name to Mission Home Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1318 Wewoka, Oklahoma 74884.
