Garvin Dempsey Chesser was born on February 07, 1926 in Seminole County, Oklahoma and departed this life on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 95.

Dempsey, the son of Homer Chesser and Effie (Castor) Chesser was a life long resident of Seminole county, where he called Little his home.

He was a member of the Church of Christ at Little where he served as a Deacon for many years.

He was a welder, blacksmith, and farmer.

He took pride in his greenhouse and growing tomatoes, watermelons, and corn. Always sharing it with the community.

He married Mary Arzena Chesser on October 29, 1948 in Seminole.

She preceded him in death.

Survivors include sons and daughters in law, Kent and Deanna Chesser of Enid, Oklahoma, Kevin and Pamela Chesser of Bethel, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tabitha and Marcus Buller, Jamie and Jason Myers, Casey and Nichole Chesser, Brianne and Brandon Adams, Daisha and Seth Barkhimer; great grandchildren, Mason, Maddox and Maxx Myers, Brantley and Bristol Buller, Talan and Ryker Chesser, Addison and Brooke Adams, Tinley, Quin and Leighton Barkhimer.

Pallbearers are Casey Chesser, Brandon Adams, Seth Barkhimer, Jason Myers, Marcus Buller and Roy Boydstun.

Honorary Pallbearers are Tom Chesser, Don Chesser, Jim Chesser, Keith Chesser, and Charlie Lichti.

The family has suggested expressions of sympathy be made in memory of Dempsey to the Church of Christ at Little, 11526 Hwy. 99, Seminole, Oklahoma 74868
