Floyd Eugene Jump passed away in Wewoka, Oklahoma on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the age of 82.

Floyd was born August 10, 1939 to Floyd and Mary Emmie (Self) Jump in Ryan, Oklahoma. He grew up in the Stecker and Anadarko areas and attended school there. He married Francis Fox and to this union he ha a daughter, Doris Simco, and a son, Floyd H. Jump.

Floyd worked as a general carpenter. He did it all in home construction. He was a mason, electrician, plumber, cabinet maker, and finisher. He could build almost anything.

Floyd loved spending time with family and with his two dogs, “Boy” and “Girl”. He also loved to fish, spend time outdoors, travel, driving, and casinos.

Floyd was saved and baptized at the Lord’s Community Church in Seminole on April 20, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Floyd and Mary Jump, daughter; Robin Amos, niece; Chanisea Deluca, and siblings; Leslie Jump (Fannie), Hazel Constante (Jack), and Marie Lewis (Gene).

He is survived by his twin sister; Nadine Jump of Anadarko, OK, son; Floyd H. “Jr.” Jump and wife, Shirl, of Wewoka, OK, daughter; Doris Simco and, husband, Jeff of Wynnewood, OK, son-in-law; Charlie Amos of Wynnewood, grandchildren; Reyllie Jump, Dewayne Jump (Amber-Michelle), Anya Tillery, Melony Drew (Jarrid), Kimberley Sorrells, and Amber Luah, nephew; David Dennington (Stacy),niece; Shandra Dennington, and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A memorial get together will be held at the Wewoka Lake on Saturday, May 7, 2022 beginning at 4:00 pm. It is potluck dinner, bring a dish and come stay with us as we share stories about Floyd and visit.
