Fay Evelyn Sims, age 73, Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away February 26, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma.

She was born April 10, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas to parents Leonard Charles Threet and Ruby Evelyn (Smith) Threet.

Fay grew up in Little Rock and traveled around with her family growing up while her father worked as a professional in tree management.

She married Charles Sims in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She worked at AT&T until her retirement. Fay enjoyed gardening, planting trees, flowers and shrubs and anything that would grow into something beautiful. She also loved painting crafts.

She was a member of Highway Baptist Church at Little, Oklahoma.

Fay is survived by her husband of 27 years; Charles Sims, sons; Rusty and Steve and wife Cathy, daughters; Tena and her husband Eddie, Charlot and Connie, brothers; Ray, Charles, Marvin, Charles, Jr. and David, sister; Marleen, grandchildren; Ginger, Steven, Nicholas, Russell, Christopher, Derek, Leah, Dalton, Jacob, Tricia and Stephanie and great grandchildren; Honey, Edsal, Kyia, Kali, Kalani, Addy, Xander, Ellie, Lincoln, Addison, Milly, Cooper, Andy, Luke, Ruby, Pearl, Carson, Madison and Addie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandchild, Jerid Dickson.

Graveside services for Fay will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 28, 2020 at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole. Carl Whitfield will officiate the service.

Arrangements are under the care of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
