Eugene “Dick” Myrick, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away, Sunday, February 23, 2020, at the age of 92 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Dick was born on January 20, 1928, in Milo, Oklahoma to John and Geneva (Brown) Myrick.

Dick was a 1946 graduate of Bowlegs High School.

He joined the United States Army Air Forces as a Radiosonde Operator 942 in 1946 and was honorably discharged in 1949 with the rank of Sergeant from what is known today as the United States Air Force.

Dick married Nell White, his wife of 61 years, on October 14, 1957, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City. He worked for LTV Energy Products for 42 years and retired in January 1993.

He is survived by his wife Nell, of Midwest City, Oklahoma; sons, Jerry Myrick and his wife Catherine of Ozark, Missouri, David Myrick of Oklahoma City, and Ricky Myrick and his wife Debbie of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Dick will also be forever remembered by his eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elmer, Johnny, Deairl and sister, Pauline Beach, and one son, Eldon.

A Celebration of Dick’s life will be held at 11 am, on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Meadowood Baptist Church, 2816 N. Woodcrest Drive, Midwest City, OK 73110.
