Ethel Dean Cole

Cole Ethel Dean Cole, 78, of Osawatomie, KS passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Life Care Center of Burlington, KS.

Ethel was born on November 22, 1946 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Carl and Hazel “Juanita” (Hamm) Osbin.

Throughout her life, Ethel was a long-time resident of both Osawatomie, KS and Seminole, OK. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, rummy, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Juanita Osbin; brother, Carl Osbin; two granddaughters, Kayla Blanton and Fancy Ripple; paternal grandparents, Fred & Lura (Hill) Osbin; maternal grandparents, John & Lydia (Bailey) Hamm; and ex-husbands, William Cole and Dickey Johann.

She is survived by her five children; daughters, Tonya Johnson and husband Charles, Shelly Johann, Erica Cole and Angie Blanton and son, Billy Cole and his wife Mary; a sister, Marla Canon; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
