Eric Gene Harjo

Eric Gene Harjo age 39 departed this life on January 27, 2021 at his home. He was born October 23, 1981 in Ada, Oklahoma to Bruce Harjo and Rosemary Holata. He attended New Lima schools. He later worked for Seminole Nation as a firefighter.

Preceding Eric in death is one brother, Isaiah Harjo.

Survivors include his father, Bruce Harjo of Shawnee, OK, mother, Rosemary Holata of Wewoka, OK, son, Jacob Blackwell of Gore, OK, sisters, Kathrine Underwood of Holdenville, OK, Rosie Tiger of Wewoka, Bonita Underwood of Tahlequah, OK, Sarah Harjo of Seminole, OK;, brothers, Mark Smith of Sasakwa, OK and Jorum Johnson of Wewoka, OK.

The body will be taken to Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 31, 2021.

Wake service will be 7:30 p.m. Monday February 1, 2021, with Pastors Houston Tiger and Jason Tiger officiating.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church with Pastor’s Houston Tiger and Jason Tiger officiating. Burial will follow at Tiger Family Cemetery.
