Ennis Warden

Ennis Gene “Russell” Warden, Shawnee resident, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in Shawnee at the age of 75.

Russell is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Geoffery Busk of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers and sister-in-law, Melvin Warden of Yukon and Floyd and Marilyn Warden of Meeker; sister, Rosie Soule of Bowlegs; one granddaughter, and many other family and friends.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue Warden and siblings, AV Warden, Carl Warden, Elsie Hill, Richard Warden, Johnny Warden, Jesse Warden and Linda Hoskison.

Viewing will be Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Warden in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Harvey Road Baptist Church. Interment will follow at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, OK. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
