Oklahoma City resident, Edwin Lynn Hensley, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 in Oklahoma City.

Lynn, the son of Derris and Gertrude (Belyeu) Hensley, was born January 25, 1935, in Sylvian, Oklahoma. On September 21, 1954, Lynn married Anna Casey, in Prague. He and Anna were married 65 years, prior to her passing in 2019. Lynn was a parts manager in heavy equipment sales for many years, working for Jennings Engine Supply, and Kiethley Handling Supply. Lynn enjoyed fishing and working in his garden, and he was always tinkering with something in his shop, but nothing was as important to him as spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Nadine Hensley.

Lynn is survived by his daughters and sonsin- law, Linda Vance and Randy, of Moore, and Angie Bailey and Joe of Edmond; son and daughter- in-law, Andy Hensley and Vickie of Newcastle; a sister, Barbara Pinnecker of Corona, CA; grandchildren Teah Ausmus, Chad Vance, Whitney Stegar, and Breckon Birdsong; great grandchildren, Bryan Vance, Tucker Stegar, Brody Vance, Katie Stegar, Payton Ausmus, Noland Stegar, Wyatt Stegar, Lynlee Birdsong, Emory Birdsong, Sol Birdsong, and Blake Vance; and many other family members and friends.

A graveside service is Friday, October 27, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel at Little Cemetery with Bela Strickland officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
