Donna Stanley

Donna Darlene Stanley passed away on September 16, 2019 at the age of 75 in Edinburg, Texas with her son and husband by her side. She was the wife of Gene (Pete) Stanley. They shared 35 years of marriage together.

Donna was born on August 2, 1944 in Vamoosa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Ed and Rachel Sharber.

She attended school in Vamoosa and was employed most of her life as a Real Estate Agent. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, reading her Bible and playing cards with friends. She loved making and delivering her famous pies to many people and using this skill as a fundraiser for countless mission trips.

She is survived by her husband Gene Stanley; son Warren and Jennifer Berry of Lockwood, Missouri; daughter-in-law Tonja Berry of Seminole, OK; stepson Lance and Kimmi Stanley of Yukon, OK; stepdaughter Teresa and Brad Jett of Shawnee, OK; and sister-in-law Zoila Sharber. She is also survived by numerous cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Gina Berry Wilkins and six siblings.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:00am at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Seminole with interment at the Little Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, September 20 from 5:00-7:00pm at Walker Service in Shawnee, OK.
