“Buffy” Delores Sue (Casteel) Troglin, 48, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betsy (Taylor) Casteel.

She is survived by her husband, Eli Troglin, and their two sons, Austin Troglin and Aaron Troglin; her father, David “PaPa” Casteel and his wife, Debbie; three brothers, Rodney Casteel, Randy Casteel, and Edward Heard; her uncle Jimmy Taylor and his wife, Idalene; a host of very close in-laws; several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly; and numerous relatives who knew her well and loved her.

Buffy was born on July 2, 1971 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She grew up in Seminole, OK and graduated from Varnum in 1989. She continued her education in the nursing field, becoming a third-generation nurse. She loved taking care of people and took great pride in her profession. Throughout her career, she made many special friends who she loved dearly and mutually.

She married Eli, her husband of 25 years, on February 17, 1995. Together, they have raised their boys and made many memories down in “Wildcat Holler”, their family home in Bowlegs, OK.

Buffy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, joking, pestering, and remembering when. Whether at the lake, a cookout, or other gathering with friends or family, she could always be heard laughing and seen with a pair of sunglasses on her head. She enjoyed fireworks, snow cones, road trips with her family, Bub’s guitar-playing, Aaron’s weather reports, and her Loving Man’s cooking.

While her time on earth was not as long as any of us would have liked, she brought us many laughs, smiles, and memories. She touched the lives of countless people and she will be missed by many.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at First Assembly of God in Bowlegs with Rev. Jeff Nance officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bailey Glenn, Blake Glenn, Austin Ledinski, Sam Conrey, Darrin Jeske, Jeff Dean and Jesse Ramirez.

The family would like to invite family and friends to a meal and fellowship time at 12:00 noon at the Family Life Center located next door to the church.
