Delmer Ray Stewart, longtime Seminole resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Seminole at the age of 86. Delmer was born on February 12, 1937 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Silas Stewart and Cleo (McNeil) Stewart. He married Debra Boulton on May 8, 1991 in Shawnee.

Delmer was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He spent most of his life in Shawnee. He was a great man and loved everyone. Delmer loved spending time with family.

Delmer is survived by his wife, Debra Stewart of the home; five sons, Jeff Stewart of Shawnee, Jay Stewart and wife, Glenda of Shawnee, Lariat Stewart of Seminole, Clint Tooley and wife, Ashley of Purcell and Clay Tooley and wife, Christie of Noble; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Delmer was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Stewart and son, Tim Stewart.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Clay Tooley, Clint Tooley, Lariat Stewart, Clinton Tooley, Ethan Tooley and Kevin Stewart.

Viewing will be Friday, March 24, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Mark Guinn officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
