Debbie Sue (West) King, age 72, passed away in Midwest City, Oklahoma on January 6, 2022. She was born August 17, 1949, in Seminole, Oklahoma to Joe William West and Guindol Faye (Sandlin) West. She graduated from Seminole High School in 1967. Debbie married Wayne King on February 10, 1986, in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Debbie worked as a loan officer at a finance company. She loved her family and enjoyed NASCAR and going to casinos. She was a diehard OU fan.

Debbie is survived by her husband Wayne King of the home in Midwest City, Oklahoma, sons; Shannon Powers and Jana of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Lesley King of Seminole, Oklahoma and Bradley King and Vickie of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, her sister Cathy Lynn Patterson and Thomas of Seminole, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Logan Powers and Kristalynn of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Korrigan Powers, Jakob Powers, Dalton Powers and Boomer Powers, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and one great-grandchild; Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Viewing for Debbie will be from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2022, at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.

The family is requesting all who attend Debbie’s service to wear OU colors. Face masks are mandatory for all who attend the service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
