Wewoka resident, David Wayne Harris passed away Friday, March 5th, 2021 in Tulsa at the age of 64. David was born August 28th, 1956 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Thomas William Harris and Grace Davis Harris. He attended Sasakwa public schools and later worked many years for Town and Country Auto.

David enjoyed restoring classic cars and trucks, playing pool, and spending time with his family and friends.

David is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Tommy Dale Harris, Charles Harris and Ruby Harjo.

He is survived by his children, Stacy Roy and husband Phillip of Grandbury, Texas, David Harris Jr. of Hurst, Texas and Dustin Harris of Pampa, Texas, grandchildren, Kayleigh Roy, Devin Sowder, Kaleb Harris, Olivia Snodgrass, Jayeden Harris, Brycin Harris, Auydrie Harris and Colten Harris, Brother’s, Larry Harris of Holdenville, Roy Dean Harris of Wewoka and sister’s, Sue Giles of Holdenville and Nancy Conley of Wewoka along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be Monday March 8, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Wake service will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 10, 2021 at New Life Church in Wewoka and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers are David Harris Jr., John Coon, Jay Harjo, Kenny Bowlegs, Terry Heard, Zach Griffith, and Scott Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers are Greg Poafpybitty, Driver, Logan Hudson, Huley Harjo, Hank Neal, Eli Caruthers, Shane Heard, Raul Chavez and Jr. Coody.

Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
