David “Blues” Lane Postoak

David “Blues” Lane Postoak age 71, passed away, Saturday, December 17, 2022 in Seminole, OK. He was born October 11, 1951 in Wewoka, OK to the late Eli Lincoln Postoak and Elizabeth (Davis) Postoak.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son, William Johnson, granddaughter, Caitlin Postoak-Garcia, mother of his children, Corrine (Andrade) Johnson, siblings, Leonard Postoak, James Postoak, George Postoak, Lyman Postoak, Amos Postoak, Margarette Postoak, Lucinda Thomas, Maxine Postoak.

David is survived by his wife, Shirley L. Postoak, children, Timothy and Marquita Johnson of Wewoka, OK, Jeremy and Tracy Postoak of Sasakwa, OK, Briana Postoak-Garcia of OKC, OK, Inesa Johson and Lorenzo Aguilar of OKC, OK, Lash Blue Blankenship and Tori of Shawnee, OK, Blaize Blankenship and Elizabeth of Shawnee, OK, Bucky Blankenship of Seminole, OK, 27 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, siblings, Leon Postoak, of OKC, OK, Paul Postoak of Wewoka, OK, Thompson Postoak of Seminole, OK, Christine Postoak of Shawnee, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Indian Nation Baptist Church in Seminole, OK.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, OK, with Pastor Lewis Johnson officiating, and assisting him will be Pastor Frank Moppin. Interment to follow at Postoak Cemetery in Sasakwa, OK.
