Darrell Powell

Darrell Wayne Powell, Shawnee, OK resident, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025 in Shawnee at the age of 59.

Darrell is survived by his daughter, Kendall Powell of Shawnee, OK; brothers, Dennis James Powell of Shawnee, OK and Ronnie Powell of Shawnee, OK; sisters, Mary Bowers of Oklahoma City, OK, Vanessa Powell of Shawnee, OK and Brenda Powell of Shawnee, OK and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, James and Clara Powell; Judy Walker, Theresa Powell- Ahgoom and Tiffany Powell-Ahgoom.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2025 and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

A wake will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Many Springs Baptist Church in Holdenville, OK with Rev. Frank Moppin and Rev. Jonathan Moppin officiating. Interment will follow at John Powell Family Cemetery in Holdenville, OK.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
