Ensminger Darrell Wayne Ensminger was born on August 1, 1955, in Marlow, Oklahoma to Billy John and Ellen Delores (Roberts) Ensminger. He passed away at his sister’s home in Anadarko, Oklahoma on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the age of 68.

Family visitation is scheduled for 5:00-7:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 30 at Whitt Funeral Home. A graveside service is planned for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 1, at Duncan Municipal Cemetery with Larry Ensminger officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Jeremy Matlock, Tyler Matlock, Erwin Howard, Darrell Newton, Gaylord Brumley, and Mark Cariker. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Darrell graduated from Wewoka High School in 1973. He worked as a machinist at Halliburton and also did carpentry work and installed siding on houses. In his free time, Darrell enjoyed deer hunting with his dad and niece and nephew.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Jimmie Matlock, Darrell is survived by his sister, Debra Matlock; nieces: Deetra Stallings and husband Delbert, Jillian Matlock; nephews: Tyler Matlock, Jeremy Matlock and wife Jamie, Joshua Matlock; aunt, Gwen Tilley; many cousins; special friends: Erwin Howard, Kellie Landis, Amanda Emerson, Darrell Newton, Gaylord Brumley; and his fur friend, Moe.
