Darla Ruth (Bottom) Miles

Miles Darla Ruth (Bottom) Miles, age 74 and a longtime resident of Asher, Oklahoma passed away August 26, 2025 at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at First Baptist Church located at 109 E. Main in Asher, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Joe Howard Williamson will officiate and burial will follow at Vista Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Monday, September the 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Konawa.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Steve Miles of the home; two sisters, Connie Wartchow and husband, Ronnie of Roff, Oklahoma, and Phyllis Sisco and husband, Richard of Asher, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Nancy Davis of Edmond, Oklahoma; one brother-in-law, David Miles of Ada, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Lillie Bottom; one brother, Eddie Bottom; and one sister, Charlotte Bottom.
