Connie Scott, 66, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Connie was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 20, 1953 to Billy James Dodgen and Mary Louise (Brewer) Dodgen.

Connie spent most of her life in Seminole, Oklahoma and attended and graduated from Seminole High School in 1971.

Connie retired from Seminole Public Schools where she was a bus driver for 14 years. She had also worked for WalMart in receiving for over 15 years and Lunch-N-Such for 10 years.

Connie married Billy Don Scott on January 10, 1981 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Connie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Don Scott of the home, one son Billy Swisher of Seminole, Oklahoma, three daughters; Stephanie Earles and her husband Tim of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Brandy Martin and her husband Dallas of Seminole, Oklahoma and Nicki Swisher of Rolla, Missouri, two brothers Chuck Dodgen and his wife Sondra and Carl Dodgen, two sisters Candy Davis and her husband Doyle and Cherry Allison and her husband Johnny, her eleven grandchildren; Sami Bannon and her husband Aaron, Becky

Earles, Chris Earles and his wife, Cameron, Brandon “Bubba” Earles and his wife Rachelle, Gavin Martin, Blake Martin, Summer Swisher, Noah Swisher, Michael Swisher and Marissa Swisher and one great grandchild due in September.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mary Dodgen, her stepmom Bobbye Dodgen, her grandson Evan Blake Scott and her daughter-in-law; Meshell Williams.

Graveside memorial services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 27, 2020 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, with Pastor Carol Hopper officiating at the memorial service. Arangements are under the care of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
