Cody “Bo” Daniel Harjo, Wewoka resident, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, in Oklahoma City at the age of 31. Bo was born on October 21, 1991 in Seminole, OK to Samuel J. Spencer and Channon Rae Harjo. He grew up in Seminole County.

Bo enjoyed everything in life. He was an entrepreneur and original jack of all trades. He was a gentle and kind hearted soul. He absolutely loved his family and friends. Bo was the best brother, dad, uncle and friend anyone could ask for. He would go to the worlds end for his children.

Bo is survived by his father, Samuel Spencer; sons, Zachariah Seminuchuke Lynn Harjo and Elijah Gabriel Harjo; daughters Eyasketv Zariah Danielle Harjo; brothers, Trey Spencer of Wewoka, Sampson Spencer of Wewoka, Gilbert Samson Cole of Ponca City and Kelsey Spencer of Okeechobee, FL; sisters, Alicia Cole of Seminole, Rv’fo Spencer of Seminole, Sidney Spencer of Wewoka, Michelle Smith of Shawnee and Ashley Spencer of Okeechobee, FL; nephews, Mykel Cole, Teneke Rodriguez and Xavyer Spencer; nieces, Lena Rodriguez and Haezel Rideaux and many other family and friends.

Bo was preceded in death by his mother, Channon Harjo; brother, Brett Spencer, Donnell Carter and Isaiah Harjo.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Jonathan Harjo, Joseph Harjo, Duke Tilley, William Underwood, Josh Lena, Aaron Lena, Joseph Thierry Jr., Benny Sewell and Wade LaFlamme.

Honorary casket bearers will be Samuel Spencer, Trey Spencer, Sampson Spencer, Mykel Cole, Thunder Rodriguez, Zachariah Harjo, Elijah Harjo, Nathaniel Harjo and David Breed.

Bo will be taken to Seminole Hitchitee United Methodist Church on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. A wake will be held at the church on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the church on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Burial will follow at Harjo Family Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
