Clarice Cloud

Clarice (Scroggins) Cloud, age 87 and a longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away February 5, 2024 at Seminole Care and Rehab Center in Seminole, Oklahoma.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Konawa Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral home of Konawa. Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate.

Clarice was born October 10, 1936 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to William Chester “Buddy” Scroggins and Jessie Alice (Spears) Scroggins. She married Billy Bryant Cloud June 28, 1953 in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

She is survived by two sons, Willie Cloud and wife, Brenda of Konawa, and Gary Cloud of Konawa; one daughter, Dee Stoup also of Konawa; two sisters, Dean Walker of Konawa, and Nena Elliott and husband, Darrell of Konawa; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Jessie Scroggins, and husband, Billy Cloud.
